Visual and brand identity for a conceptual superfood bar with a futuristic twist. Spiro is made from an ultra-healthy and efficient type of algae called spirulina which can be grown virtually anywhere with very little environmental impact.
So why not grow it on Mars?

By the year 2080, Earth will be experiencing the hard effects of climate change. Spiro’s core aim is to help the billions of people experiencing malnutrition and the 600 million people suffering from chronic hunger by this time (data from the IPCC). With this in mind, I designed the brand to be functional and serve its purpose.
